Experience the magic of eco‐printing, a process of making botanical prints from the natural pigments found in plants.
Using natural plant materials we gather from the surrounding forest we will explore the alchemy of water, plant materials, heat and metal to create beautiful botanical impressions onto a silk scarf or a set of 4 cotton napkins.
It is the unpredictable and surprising results that makes the process of eco-printing so exciting. There will also be an opportunity to experiment with eco-printing paper.
During our time together I will also share the processes that have worked well for me as well as the equipment and bundling techniques that are used so that you can continue your own exploration of this beautiful and natural process on other fabrics and papers following the workshop.
